I really admire the Govt of India's initiative to give recognition to "Allied and Healthcare Professionals" through constitution of National Commission for Allied & Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) which is surely going to give a boost to healthcare delivery system of India. Very soon, it will become a reality that all qualified AHPs will get registered with UPSAHC and only those shall have right to provide healthcare services legally. Uttar Pradesh State Allied and Healthcare Council is committed to fulfill the very objective of this Act through regulatory mechanism for all recognised broad categories. State Council shall be statutory authority in maintaining the standards of Allied & Healthcare Education as well as quality of institutions imparting education in these 59 professions across the state. This Council is getting ready to set standards and lay foundation for systematic regulatory mechanism for the institutions and AHPs.
